The Countdown To Wrestling Is On

The Northeastern Junior College wrestling team's path to the national tournament will carry them across the west. The final stop, Council Bluffs, Iowa, where the Plainsmen had moderate success in their inaugural season.  With three national qualifiers, and one All-American, the Plainsmen grapplers are looking to build on that success.

The Plainsmen will open their season with the Black and Gold Intersquad match at the Bank of Colorado Event Center on October 27 at 7 p.m. Your Plainsmen will then head to Laramie, Wyoming for the Cowboy open, and test their skills against not only junior college competition, but also wrestlers across the collegiate landscape from NAIA to Division I.

With the incoming student athletes set to come to campus in one month, the season is fast approaching. The wrestling team is excited for the opportunity to try and bring another national title to campus.  That opportunity runs through Sterling, all the way to Council Bluffs, Iowa.
