Northeastern Baseball Wins Third Game in A Row Over McCook Community College, Winning Game Three 12-2

Northeastern Baseball takes care of business for the third time against McCook Community College, winning the first game on Monday 12-2. Ondrej Vank was named the DDC Player of the Game. Vank started on the mound for the Plainsmen and earned the win. Vank went 5 innings, giving up one earned run on four hits, walking two and striking out 7 batters. 

A double by Max Valerio gave Northeastern the lead 2-1 in the bottom of the first inning. The Plainsmen added one run in the second after Hudson Hoy singled down the right field line. Northeastern extended the lead in the bottom of the third with three runs thanks to RBI singled by Brayden Stufft and Michael Clark. CJ Gonzales threw .2 inning of relief, giving up one earned run on two hits, walking two and striking out two batters. Evan Lamunyon finished the game off with .1 innings pitched. 

Northeastern amassed 12 hits in the contest. Stuff, Tanner Peerey, Yusei Uzawa, Valerio and Hoy each collected two hits in the contest. Stufft, Uzawa, Clark and Valerio each drove in two runs. Peerey and Uzawa stole multiple bases for Northeastern.
