Plainsmen snap three game skid

The Northeastern Junior College Plainsmen snapped a three game losing streak Saturday at home. NJC defeated TSJC 81-74 and are now 2-0 at the Bank of Colorado Event Center this season. They are now 2-5 on the season.

The Plainsmen had four players reach double figures. James Dumes led all scorers with 17 points off the bench. He went 7-9 from the floor and 3-4 from the three point line.

Marcus Cooper scored 14 points and grabbed seven rebounds. Axel Mpoyo recorded a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Naradian James added 10 points.

NJC will play three straight games at home starting tonight against Adams State College junior varsity. They'll be in action again Tuesday, Nov. 24, against Sheridan College.
