Northeastern Softball Falls To College of Southern Nevada To Start Off The Season
Northeastern Softball opened up it's season in Las Vegas, NV on the 24th and fell to the College of Southern Nevada 15-0. The Coyotes started off hot, plating 8 runs in the first inning. The Coyotes were able to get another 4 runs across in the second inning. Once again in the third inning the Coyotes were able to score another 3 runs and were held scoreless in the fourth inning. Reagan Fehringer startied in the circle for the Plainswomen and ended up taking the loss. Fehringer pitched two innings, giving up 11 hits and 12 runs (3 earned) striking out two, while giving up no walks.
Ryann Eurich was named the DDC Player of the Game. She was able to get one hit in one at bat for a single. Kelsi Jerczewsky was the only other player able to get a hit, while recording a single, going 1-2 in the contest. The Plainswomen were able to accumulate 4 walks in the contest.
