Personal: Daughter of Heather McCain and Mike Wheeler. I have two younger siblings, Alyson and Owen. 

Major: Business

Why NJC? I chose NJC because the coach reached out to me looking for another girl to add to his golf team. I was immediately excited because his college was in Colorado and I wouldn't be too far from home. Then we set up a campus tour and from the moment I stepped on the campus, it instantly felt like home. The students, staff and atmosphere were so welcoming and it felt like a place I could thrive in. Not only did I fall in love with the sense of home, the business professors gave me a great idea of what to expect and welcomed me in their program quickly. With all this, also came the fact that I would get to pursue my dream of playing golf at the college level.
