Northeastern Wrestling Sees Some Success at the Younes Hospitality Open

The Plainsmen Wrestling team traveled to the Younes Hospitality Open this past weekend and were able to find alot of success from many wrestlers throughout. Ethan Sinclair earned the DDC Wrestler of the Dual. Sinclair was able to go 3-2 in the Open, recording two pinfalls and one major decision. Trevor Hermosillo, Calvin Mendez, Bronson Richins and Silas Thompson were all able to join Sinclair with going 3-2 in the Dual. Martin Renteria recorded a 2-2 record on the day. 

Coach Duncan said "the team displayed alot of growth in the areas the team has been working on in the practice room. The team had a 13 day break before the home tri dual on Thursday and we put in alot of time in positions we have been struggling with as a team. This work seemed to pay off for alot of the guys at the Younes Open."

The team will take a quick break over Thanksgiving and then will be back in action again on December 5th, for a home dual against Trinidad State College.
