Northeastern Looks Dominant In A Bounce Back Game Against Trinidad State College, Winning 11-0

Northeastern shows out with a dominating performance against Trinidad State College, taking them down 11-0. Kadee Rodgiruez was named the DDC Player of the Year. Rodriguez scored 3 goals in the second half and kept a clean sheet as a centerback in the first half, excelling in both offense and defense.

It was an all around team effort for the Plainswomen. Samantha Nunez scored 3 goals and had 1 assist. Alea Dukes added another 2 goals and 1 assist and Madison Wimberly provided 2 assists, helping fuel the offensive attack.

The team has already matched the total number of goals they scored last fall, showing significant improvement in their offense. The team needs to focus on playing their style at their tempo, no matter the opponent. They are back in action again on September 20th, in Scottsbluff, Nebraska against Western Nebraska Community College at 1:00 PM.
