In what could be a Game of the Year nomination, #6 Northeastern took down #11 Utah State University Eastern (19-25), (25-22), (25-23), (21-25), (15-13) in their first game of the Sheila Worley tournament. Nerea Alvarez Jorge was named the DDC Player of the Game. Jorge Achieved an unofficial triple-double with 12 kills, 31 assists, and 10 digs, showcasing her all-around performance and versatility on the court.

It was an all around effort for the Plainswomen. Samantha Mosley contributed 18 kills in a dominant performance. Natalie Moore was a strong presence at the net with 7 kills and 5 blocks. Taelynn Epple aided the team's defense, while adding another 4 blocks. Composure and communication were essential in maintaining focus during the closely contested sets.
