#5 Northeastern Volleyball Earns a Clean Sweep Victory Over Lamar Community College

In a decisive conference volleyball match at Northeastern Junior College, the Plainsmen/Plainswomen secured a clean sweep against Lamar Community College Lopes with a final score of NJC 3-0 LCC. The match, held on September 27, 2025, showcased a dominant performance by the Northeastern as they extended their season record to an impressive 18-3.

The first set began competitively, with both teams showing strong plays, but NJC pulled ahead to win 25-20. Continuing their momentum into the second set, the Plainswomen increased their lead by taking the set 25-17. By the third set, NJC was in full control, cruising to a victory with a set score of 25-11, solidifying their dominance in the match.

Samantha Mosley was recognized as the DDC player of the match, thanks to her outstanding offensive plays, leaving Lamar continually struggling to respond. Her performance was a key factor in NJC's triumph.

Looking ahead, the Northeastern Junior College volleyball team will travel to Otero College for their next conference match on October 3, 2025. The match against Otero College promises to be another important event as NJC strives to maintain their strong standing this season.
