Northeastern Baseball Goes 1-3 In Four Game Series Against Southeast Community College
Northeastern Baseball falls to Southeast Community College 10-2 in the final game of the four game road series. Tanner Peerey was named the DDC Player of the Contest. Peerey went 3-4 at the plate, hitting one double and scoring one run.
Cameron Ochoa started the game for the Plainsmen and ended up taking the loss. Ochoa went 1.1 innings, giving up 6 runs (three earned) on four hits, walking one batter and striking out one batter. Matt Yarish threw 1.1 innings, giving up one unearned run on three hits, walking one batter and striking out one batter. Evan Lamunyon threw 2.1 innings, giving up two hit, walking one batter and striking out one batter. Makoy Lucero threw two innings, giving up three runs (two earned) on two hits, walking two batters and striking out two batters. CJ Gonzales threw one inning, walking one batter and striking out one batter.
The Plainsmen were able to compile 10 hits in the contest. Hudson Hoy led the team with two runs batted in. Aniel Del Orbe and Zach McVay each collected multiple hits in the game. McVay stole two bases.
