Bio

High School/Club: In 2024, I was named Region 3 6A honorable mention. I was a 3 time varsity letterman and a 3 time Varsity Defensive MVP. At the 2023 Las Vegas Classic I achieved the All-Tournament team. I hold Utah’s Freshman Ace record at 102 Aces.

College Stats/Achievements: Played in 23 matches, starting in eight, totaled 79 sets played. I led the team with .35 aces per set, a mark that ranked ninth in the RMAC (28 aces in all). I came away with 150 digs (1.90/set). I was targeted 243 times on serve receive with a receiving percentage of 95.1. I achieved double-digit digs in five matches, celebrating a career-high 18 digs versus Central Oklahoma.

Personal: Daughter of Leah and Karsten Shumway. I have one older sister, Alexia Shumway. 

Major: Science

Academic Awards: High Academic Honor Roll for four years. Named a Scholastic Scholar Athlete 2022-2024. 2025 Dean’s list and currently holding a 4.0/4.0 GPA
